Excellent medical care. The student clinicians are just as professional and detailed as their staff doctors! Thoroughly a clean, thoughtful, collaborative, and positively healing environment.

After seeing many specialists regarding SIBO and other digestive issues, in Allopathic Medicne and a Naturopath (Naturopathy helped to an extent ), I finally found out about Ayurvedic services at Bastyr. The treatment given by Dr Dhru, Dr Dean and the student in training Rosalie was fantastic. I never felt hurried and has always been explained why they are asking me to follow a particular diet or take particular medicine. They also suggested a series of Ayurvedic massages for detoxing and that really helped with my issues by about 80%. Jody and Trish, the massage therapists were absolutely sweet and I never felt so nurtured or taken care of before. I would recommend changing your lifestyle according to Ayurveda for your chronic problems and enjoy a longer and healthier life.

Be careful with the smooth talking. He'll ask you a bunch of questions to understand if your diet has anything to do with your problem. He'll then step out for a little bit to go find the right 'tool'. And then finally he'll begin look at your problem. I spent 1h45min (not in the waiting room, but in his office) just to get my ears checked out for ringing in my ear. While he did attempt to remove some wax (unsuccessfully), it felt like I was in there forever. Oh, then he'll also speak to you about how he's moving to a new office and how he won't take insurance at his new office. He ended the session by saying he couldn't tell what was wrong with my ear. That whole experience is costing me $134.
