::Always an escape from the rat race outside and the pretentiousness of other studios inside. Totally chill vibe, welcoming, & clean.
Leigh-Anne Delport
::I found the studio and door person and instructors to be welcoming. The practice is always challenging. Always learning to go deeper. I love that that there are multiple studios. There are many and very convient class times.

::Where I took my first yoga class and a year later the teacher training. I love this place and their people. It's a donation based yoga studio, you leave what you can, rental mat for $2, so it appealed to me when I just wanted to explore Yoga without immediate commitment. St Marks studio offers Vinyasa Yoga classes throughout the day, seven days a week, suitable for both beginners and longtime practitioners. It believes that instead of the teachers, you are in full control of your Yoga practice, allowing you to focus on creating your own experience regardless of the teacher. The studio runs on three floors and each floor has a huge space for classes. During peak hours you may be practicing with 50 other people in a room, so teachers can't give each individual as much attention as you may find in smaller classes, which has never bothered me. If you have questions about poses or your practice feel free to linger and chat with the teachers before and after classes. They are awesome, empathic, and encouraging people.
