We came to Wok and Roll after arriving in DC after a long day of driving and exploring the metro. Deciding to get off at Chinatown, we quickly found this restaurant with about a five minute walk. It was very busy, the service was okay—understandable because it was literally packed. Food was amazing. The orange chicken was spicier then mine back home, but it was still great. Perfect little hole in the wall!! There are signs in the back about a 10% off but they’re kind of hidden!! Make sure to look(:

This is some slightly above average Chinese food. I liked it. I went with my grandfather and we had a meal and chatted and it was nice. There was a little boy who refilled our drinks and he was very professional and polite. One of the best waiters I've had recently.

We had so much fun at karaoke!! The staff had a sour face the whole time, smiling won't kill you, I promise. Otherwise I'd be dead. Food was ok, but we had a great time.

I made a reservation three days prior to the event, and they forgot to reserve the room. They told me that they'd get back at me with the confirmation no later than two days, but I didn't hear anything back from them so I called the morning of the actual event. They clearly forgot to reserve the room for us, but they wouldn't admit it. Instead, they told me to call back at 2, so I called back around 2:30. They still wouldn't reserve the room when I called that time, and told me to call through different number. Funny, because the number didn't work. I called more than five times, double checked if the number was right but still didn't work. So I called them again to tell them the number isn't working, and the lady started screaming "I told you to call that number! I. Told. You. To. Call. That. Number!" I was in disbelief. They messed up my reservation, gave me a number that did not even work, and now scream at me? I should be the one who's being frustrated at the moment because the event was in few hours but the room wasn't even booked. A different person took the phone from her and told me to call in ten minutes. I told him that we made the reservation three days ago, and I want to know if we are going to be able to have the room for the night. He didn't answer my question, and simply said to call back in ten minutes. I was very tired from every one of this mess, so I told them to forget about it. Moral of the story: forget about going to this place. I'd say pay few extra bucks and go to a different place. Screaming at a customer whose reservation was not made because of their own very fault? I was genuinely surprised and disgusted with their attitude.

It's a fun place for karaoke. It gets really busy on the weekends, so it's best to call ahead and make a reservation to make sure you have a room when you arrive. Weekdays are usually not busy, so it's easier to get a room. They also have an open space you can karaoke for a smaller fee than a private room. Their song selection is pretty good, they often have the newest hits. The prices are reasonable, though they do charge a service fee, whether you purchase anything or not. Their food is pretty good as well. The karaoke system is easy enough to use once you've got the hang of it, and they do a pretty good job of explaining it all to you before you start, and they're very responsive to questions and requests. They also allow to split the bill when you have a group, which makes it easier to pay. If you love karaoke, I'd recommend this place. It's metro accessible, so easy to get to. When you get to the restaurant though, you have to go through the actual restaurant, all the way to the back and up the stairs in the back to get to the karaoke place.
