All time old School favorite spot in DC I think they have been around for 8+ years! Very consistent menu never disappointed great pizza close to European Pizza pie as it gets. Artichoke dip n grilled calamari is a must! Beautiful patio with palm trees so relaxing. A++++++ highly recommended

Worst old fashioned I’ve had in dc. Asked the bartender if they made them, haven’t been here before so I wasn’t sure. If a bartender tells me no, I would never push it. She got really offended, put no simple syrup in them and almost used rail whiskey except that I looked over at that time. When my friend asked for a bit of simple, it was in a cooler that had glasses stocked over the top. The guy we asked was attempting to get it out (the bar back), being very helpful. As he pulled out the simple, the bartender says “don’t worry about it” picks up a bottle of DeKuyper and pours it in. I was simply stunned. Thank god the bouncers and other staff were all really friendly to us (big shout out to them). But 13$ old fashioned from here is a definite no go. She should have said no from the beginning, it would have been a lot more respectable. Hopefully she was just having a bad day and this isn’t something consistent.

One thing that will make me go back to Barcode is their chicken wings. They make the perfect spicy hot tender juicy wings. I had grilled salmon with some strange looking veggies that tasted great, and two glasses of cocktail punch that was sweet but got me tipsy. My friend has their Tuna (it wasn't great so don't bother trying it) My waitress kept coming back to check up on us and give us water. I can't over emphasize how important this is!! You literally have to beg your waiter to give you water at some restaurants. Like, you served me spicy wings, shouldn't common sense tell you that I need water? It was an overall nice environment. A little too loud for me, but like I said, I'll be going back for the wings.
