This place is always disgusting, the carts are never stocked and they're filthy, squeaky, and difficult to steer. I'm not sure why, but every time I go in, there are men there that get behind me in the checkout line and get in my space and try to push me forward. It's really not a good experience anytime that I have been. My daughter wanted an African American baby doll and there were NONE. Only Caucasian dolls! There were quite a lot of blind bag type small toys that we're opened up with most of their contents missing. I give up on Walmart even if it is the closest store. I'd rather travel farther for quality/cleanliness/diversity/safety.

The good:. Self checkout was easy and prices not terrible. The bad:. Very hard to find specific things, shelves looked like they had been pilaged. Not sure how much merchandise is restocked. Hard to find price for specific item (tags not in right spot).

The only reason I give it 4 stars is the wait time in line. Now that they have self checkout though its gotten a bit better. It is a super busy Walmart but manages to stay clean and organized.

In many section, aside from food and toys, are only half stocked. The items I need I can usually find the label of where it would be but no item to be found. 7 months later: No baskets to be found today at 9pm for the second time in a row. Asked two employee's, just standing around talking, about it who said "They must be all gone" "But there is basically no one in here" "Yeah.." Still 2 stars. At least I found what I needed this time. Would have spent $30 more if I had a basket (carts suck) but instead will be spending it at Freddies tomorrow.

They always have what I need. It's my favorite one stop shop in Portland. The employees are always friendly and can always help you in the right direction. I love it here and always will.
