Pros: convenient location in SW at 19th & Morrison; the streetcar stops right outside the front door; large Starbucks on the ground floor; public restrooms (though you will need to request a code to access); good clearance racks. Cons: almost everything is marked up higher than online prices (you can still order online and pick up in-store though Target has been talking about changing this policy); products frequently misplaced on shelves; items often ring up incorrectly (take a photo of the shelf price with your phone in case it rings up higher at the register).

I went there 3 times to buy a formula for my daughter and I keep seeing one of the products at the shelf that has been expired since 2017. The first two times I made the cashiers aware that some of the formulas are already expired and they did nothing about it!!

Very small selection and bad layout with very cramped womenโ€™s section at this location. Store isnโ€™t restocked enough, and the home decor section is especially disappointing. In particular, the few pillows on the shelves have not be rotated with the season or even restocked, and there are like 5 rugs here. Overall, the quality of clothing has dramatically declined at Target, and the best line (Merona) was discontinued! I had always been a HUGE Target fan but itโ€™s really starting to not be my go-to for everything and anything. Seems like Target is spending all their money on commercials and associated hit songs.

It's a mini-Target split between two floors. Small selection of everything. They had 3 different cell phones to choose from, no socks that I wanted, crummy 7-11 type sandwiches. Reasonably priced clothing is scarce downtown, City Target helps to fill that need along with Ross.

We're from a different state, so maybe I just don't understand how things work in Portland, but this angered me enough to bother coming on here and leaving a negative review for a flipping Target store. My wife and two kids were in town for a wedding. My wife needed to pick up some in-soles for her shoes. While I'm standing there with my two kids, my youngest says he needs to pee... like, NOW. I go to the restrooms and they are locked with a code. I assume this is to keep homeless people from using them? I walk up to a cashier and to another employee to ask for the bathroom code and they both tell me, "We can't tell you. You have to buy something." I explain, 'We are buying something, my wife is still shopping for stuff right now. We are paying customers, but if my son doesn't get to the restroom immediately, you're going to have a cleanup on aisle 5." "Sorry," they say. "You'll have to buy something." So while my son is dancing around trying not to pee his suit that he's about to wear to a wedding, I have to stand in line and buy a friggin Coke so he can take a tinkle. In hindsight, I should have just let him drop trow in the middle of the store and let them mop it up, but something about social norms prevented me from doing this. I get it if you're trying to keep your restrooms from turning into homeless central, but we were literally standing there in suits about to go to a wedding. Absolutely pathetic customer service.
