  Great stay, no problems, awesome community, and the manager Robert does a Great job of keeping it that way. Very historic building (Historic Landmark) in a very beautiful City.

  I rented a room here by the week at a rate of $330, which is cheap compared to most other SRO I've seen. Room was decently sized with a microwave, TV, and mini-fridge. That's the "good". The bad: the manager, Robert, is a prick. He has at least one conniption fit per day over things that are only part of his job description. There are bed bugs. And if you dislike the aroma of weed, do not stay here. There is laundry on-site for $4.00 per load.

  I got bit by a bed bug on 2 different nights in room 214. When I get bit the itching wakes me up and I'm able to catch the bed bugs. I know San Francisco has a bedbug problem but villa Soma manager comes across intimidating and dared to blame me for bringing the bed bugs because he inspected bed before I moved in. My inspection revealed a past bed bug infestation that was not treated effectively if at all. See pics of the bed. My most recent bite was oct 21 2016 6am. I will move out asap.
