I decided to grab breakfast here because my friend wanted to get coffee from Vie de France. I ordered an omelette. I did not look at my food before I checked out, which was bad on my part. I got back to my desk and opened the container to find a burned omelette. How, as a cook, do you justify boxing up a dark brown omelette? Overcooked eggs are not only disgusting, but they stink. I will not be eating here again.

Excellent coffee! The food looked amazing, but I had just eaten at a food truck outside and only needed a warm drink.

It was good, but nothing spectacular.... The sandwiches are what you would expect

I really wanted to like this place. I was excited about their Lemon Chicken. The lemon sauce was good, but the chicken didn’t taste too good or fresh. It tasted like it was reheated from the previous day, same with the potatoes. The only good thing in my dish were the green beans. Also, service was good, our waitress was really nice. After lunch on the restaurant side we went over to the bakery side where I was again really excited about macarons only to find a bunch of little ones sadly thrown in a jar (see picture). I had never seen such sad looking macarons anywhere... This made me think that this place isn’t even trying...

Poor, poor, poor customer service! I would happily pay to go anywhere else and would encourage everyone else to do the same. I hope their terrible attitude and mediocre food puts them out of business...replaced by people who actually cook and enjoy the business rather than a foreign firm looking to make a quick buck. Yamazaki does not translate into French...this place is an embarrassment to the baking profession.
