Fare Well was absolutely wonderful! We went on a Sunday for brunch. Our waiter was Mike, and even though it clearly got busy and their was a wait we never once felt rushed! Mike was very helpful in the menu choices and very accommodating and attentive! We are no longer used to driving in the DC area, so parking was a bit of an issue, but we did end up finding free street parking only a block away! The Polenta Fries are amazing! The two sauces that come with them are very different and we couldn’t even pick one over the other because they each had such distinct flavors! Vegan or not, this restaurant is a must try! My sister who is not vegan and somewhat skeptical of vegan food loved all of it!

My first impression of this place is "I am in love!" As I walked into this cozy diner I noticed the beautiful spinning cake display in the front. Every cake looked so delicious. I asked if they have anything vegan and she proceeded with “everything is vegan”! Gasp, I was so happy because when I saw the rotational cake display, I wished it was vegan so bad and the vegan Gods granted my wish! This place is cute and the owner was very nice as well as my server, roger. I was going to go to another place but when I stumbled upon this place it was a must! It is very welcoming and they also serve alcohol. I ordered the romaine Cesar, the vegan Mac and the avocado tacos. Ya I went all out but it was so worth it. I was traveling for business and everything was pretty reasonably priced. I also got the pecan cookie, it was amazing. This place was delicious and had so many options for anyone. I want to go back and try the cheeseball on the menu! This place is in a very cute neighborhood, I will be back the next time I am in DC. :)

Holy cow. Well... "Cow." And "Cheese" and sweets galore! The sweets are so tastefully balanced with fruits, chocolates, and NOT table sugar flavors. The Mac n Cheese may have been the best I've ever had, vegan or otherwise. The bartenders are all so sweet, and everyone is so willing to give opinions or recommendations to their favorites, I've never been steered wrong. Love this place, A+!

Visited here for brunch. Arrived at 9 am, but brunch hours did not start until 10 am. Offered for us to stay for coffee, but we opted to come back at 10. So worth the wait. Cute little diner, great atmosphere and service. Food was amazing! We are all vegan for over 10 yrs. Pancakes were outstanding. Tofu scramble so good, we got a second order to share. Biscuits. Oh biscuits! My husband said their veggie burger was one of the best he has ever had. Desserts were insane. All desserts were delicious with wide selection, which is no surprise since same owners as Sticky Fingers. Sticky Fingers is bakery with some limited food options, Fare Well is awesome food with dessert options. We are traveling back to DC soon, and we are already planning what we will order when we are in town. Must go to for veg/vegan and can bring omnivore friends, too.

Great little place off of H St. Went on a Sunday for brunch. They open at 9 and we were the first in the door. We were told about how they do their brunch hours. We could get anything from the bakery, coffee, etc. but they didn't start taking orders from the brunch menu until 10. We sat and had some coffee and a chocolate croissant which was awesome. Once 10 rolled around, the place was packed and everyone was ready to order. I wanted to try everything, but ended up ordering the French toast sticks, tofu scramble and potatoes and gravy. It was all delicious. Everything is vegan, but don't be wary! I'm not vegan in the slightest and I enjoyed everything I got. Definitely would recommend getting there early for brunch. Can't wait to go again!
