  Forget it about this motel or hotel USC neighborhood They don’t answer the costumers service property. Beside the some rooms are in bed conditions is better to try and other hotels or motels.!!!!!

  Not a bad place- can't expect anything ritzy for $150 a night in down town LA. But really needs some updates- carpeting, curtains, wallpaper, shower head are ancient. TV doesn't really work that well with maybe 10 viable channels. Pros: decent area near USC / downtown LA, there's a breakfast that's decent, relatively quiet place. So I wasn't distressed here but felt for the price could have updated rooms just a bit!

  My room was clean and made up quickly in the morning. The Continental Breakfast was adequate and well stocked. The Front Desk staff were present and helpful. The property is located on a busy street so there is traffic noise easily until 9PM but then died down and I was able to easily go to sleep. The pool area was ckean and safe. It was not heavily used during my visit. It was a quiet place to eat my breakfast all three mornings of my stay. This is a budget property in LA's context of that term. I would stay again on my return.

  It's an all right place to stay. It's straight out of the nineties. TVs are still CRTs with no hdmi in put. The rooms are small.

  DO NOT STAY HERE- BUGS AND BAD SERVICE. I am a USC student and I was hosting my mom at the Vagabond Inn when she came to visit. First off, when we checked in the service was extremely slow, the one employee talked on the phone for 15 minutes with another possible client before checking us in. Then, we arrived in a room that smelled overwhelmingly of smoke (it was a "nonsmoking room") we requested a change and that was granted, but our new room ALSO SMELLED LIKE SMOKE. Then, much to my dismay, as i was putting my shoes on in the chair by the window, I noticed the curtain was COVERED IN ANTS. There was also hair in the shower. I attempted to bring all of this to the attention of the staff, but nobody seemed to care. After checking out, I called 3 on three separate occasions asking to speak to a manager, and NOBODY has returned my call. I cannot believe i spent just about $300 a night to stay in a place that SMELLS, IS DIRTY, and clearly DOES NOT CARE ABOUT ITS CUSTOMERS. 0/5 stars, I will never stay here again. I have never written a negative review before, but this place truly deserves it. Absolutely awful. Will be letting my family and friends @ USC know to avoid this dumpster at all costs.
