Terrible service..... the lady working there has an attitude and is very lazy... going through the competator next time... if 0 stars was an option that would be my rating. No knocking on door from the driver... also, no notice left on my door. after finding out where my package was, I show up to this location and the lady doesnt check where my item is and also has an attitute and is not even willing to go check. Asked when they would re deliver and she cant even tell me that.. how sad and unprofessional.... sad sad sad no one answers the phone there.. what kind of business is this????

I'm not the one to leave bad reviews but the people inside this post office are absolutely amazing, but the mail carrier need to find employment elsewhere. I paid to have a package delivered on the 12th. just 2 days ago. I paid for this. I get a note on my door saying they couldn't reach anyone so we needed to either go pick it up or schedule redelivery. we were home all day! with out doors wide open all day. I chose to schedule redelivery for today the 14th since I felt that I paid for them to bring it so they needed to bring it to me. Mail lady comes today, no package. I go ask where my package is with the slip she left on my door 2 days ago. she says, oh no if I put that on your door you have to go get it at the p.o.. I told her I scheduled online for redelivery even though she knew she didn't just write that and put it on my door, so she proceeds to tell me that online thing doesn't work like that and she doesn't concern herself with people getting there mail on time. she just delivers the small stuff that fits in her bag! wth! seriously......and to top it all off the day she put the sorry we missed you note on my open front door she declined to include an article number which is asked for when you go to the USPS website to set up redelivery! which I have now done for the 3rd time. and they only allow you to leave a nice response in the special instructions section.

They like to close early here. I was at the door at 4:57pm with a single item to mail and the lady working locked all the doors in my face , telling me "WE'RE CLOSED". I rushed over here after work and she couldn't give me a break on a task that would of taken her less than 3min!

I've lived in downtown long beach two years. The first we didn't have an assigned carrier so if you ever had an issue with the mail you needed a miracle to figure out who the carrier was and what exactly happened. We had no clue when the mail was going to arrive, or of they would be able to get into our building. We constantly had mail go missing or not be delivered. This past year we finally got one and it isn't any better. I canceled my Amazon Prime membership after 8 years because they mostly use USPS and in the last 6 months my package were being marked "delivered" when they in fact were not, or lost completely. They do this to appear they have made the delivery on time- but it causes stress rushing home to get a package that would most likely be left thrown near your door, or on top of the mailboxes (even though we have locked mailboxes now for packages- but they never get used!), only to find your package is no where in sight or where they said they left it. Our carrier is on her earphones talking on the phone 24/7! Every day any time we see her she is talking to someone- maybe that's why she is so distracted and can't deliver mail correctly. Now I have to pay for one day shipping or extra to use FedEx so I can make sure my package are actually delivered on time.

Yesterday I got confirmation of a package delivery. That package never arrived. This is the 5th time that this has happened. Twice, I was able to eventually go pick up the items at the post office. This will be the third shipment that I have had to report lost/stolen. I hope the carrier is enjoying all the things that theyโ€™ve taken from me, and probably everyone else on the route. Thank you for making me explain to my family why Christmas didnโ€™t show up this year.
