Not the best post office in town, but the clerks are ready to help in any way possible. For the building itself, it is in need of an upgrade, the postal service is important for Long Beach.

Clerk and Supervisor is very rude, lazy and unprofessional! Not one of them smile and greet u with respect. They really need to work on their people skills.

Mailman to lazy to deliver a package. Happens every time. Cant walk 10 feet to my door and just leaves a notice on the mailbox. Doesn't even try to knock on the door. I have to waste my time and fuel to drive to the post office to pick up my package. I cant believe how lazy people are these day and so lucky having a government job.

Highly doubting if anyone actually works in this building. My package has just been sitting in their building for over 2 days. My package must be lost, which you'd think a business operating for as long as they have would have a decent organizational system. Don't bother calling either. It's just a waste of your time.

It's incredible that a government office can get away with what this Post Office does on a regular basis. Check out the Yelp!reviews if you think I am exaggerating. This office DOES NOT ANSWER THE PHONE. Even if you receive a slip from your carrier telling you to call and providing the number, it does not matter. This office DOES NOT ANSWER THE PHONE. Lost packages are a common occurrence and when one escalates the call to the Regional Supervisor, you are told not to feel bad, it happens to a lot of people. Lost packages? In fairness, the staff often doesn't have time to answer your phone call, they are very busy bring either bored or surly or both with the walk-in customers. Yet nothing changes year after year. It really does feel like walking into the Twilight Zone just to buy a stamp.
