  NOT RECOMMENDED! Car was reasonable enough. When I returned the car, I was charged on the spot for a small windshield chip that I expect was already there when I got the car. But what was I going to do at 5 in the morning... I paid on the spot. Since retuning, without ever having further direct contact from Thrifty, a collection agency has been calling me claiming I haven't paid for the entire windshield replacement. Check around the intertubes, this seems to be a fairly standard rental car scam, and they appear to be running it at the El Paso Thrifty.

  I had a great experience with the Thrifty Car Rental at the airport in El Paso. When I picked up my rental, the girl at the rental desk was very helpful and so very pleasant! Pick -up and drop-off was easy and super fast. I opted for the wild card option and got a nice Toyota that was in great shape and clean. I will definitely use thrifty again!
