Enjoyed our stay. Don at the front desk was helpful and friendly. The location was good. It was overall a pleasant stay.

The outside is deceiving, but once you walk inside the lobby is bright and modern. Complimentary drinks from 5:30 to 7:30. Breakfast was very good with small cheese omelettes, sausage, potatoes, pancakes, toast etc. Room was clean and very nice. However, our room was freezing. We cranked the heat and went out to dinner but it was still very cold when we got back. It was a very cold walk to and from the restaurant so at this point I was very chilled. I ended up taking a hot bath and going to bed. Room was slightly warmer at this point but not by much. We would have complained but we were very tired from traveling since 3 am and didn't feel like packing up and moving to a different room. This was room 401.

I almost don't wanna rate this place. Feels like the best kept secret in Anchorage. Amazing. Stay here.

Hidden Gem We had the pleasure of staying at The Voyager this weekend and it was phenomenal. I have lived in Anchorage my entire life and this was our first experience there. It is owned by The Hotel Captain Cook and you can definitely tell; newly renovated, spacious rooms, and free breakfast every morning. The environment was bright and clean, with meaningfully placed bold decor. I can't believe it has taken me this long to find this exceptional hotel/inn. If you ever want a weekend getaway or have an event downtown and want to book a room for the night, this is your place! Quiet, centrally located, and extremely accommodating staff.

This is one of the best hotel I've ever been to. The rooms are new and the location is convenient. Walking distance to pretty much everything in downtown. The staffs are very friendly especially Don, who helped us switched a room with no questions asked when we had a wifi issue. Definitely will stay here again!
