  We were in downtown Anchorage for an outdoor event near the Marriott, when my toddler had an urgent need to use a restroom. The first two places we tried turned us away, saying it was after hours. The Marriott staff was very welcoming and cheerfully invited us to use their facilities. I know it wasn't a very big thing, but in that moment, for my daughter (and me!), it was certainly important and makes me want to stay in a Marriott the next time I travel.

  Excellent. This will be my go to place in Anchorage from now on. Great staff, every one of a dozen or more. Tasty homemade food. Very comfortable bed, room, etc. Easily walk to anything downtown.

  Hotel is very nice. Staff is professional, courteous and helpful. Everyone was very friendly. Housekeeping was top notch. We have stayed here 4 times and each time was a pleasant experience.

  We loved our stay at the Anchorage Marriott Downtown. Our room had an amazing view and the staff were all friendly and helpful! Everything was clean and the food and service at both of their restaurants were great! We would definitely stay there again

  If I can give this hotel a negative star I would. But no such thing exist. This is the most incompetent & untrained staff I’ve ever experienced in my life. I checked into a hotel, not a club. Was suppose to stay in room 1500 but there was apparently a club party next door. I called the front desk, they said they would handle it. 15 mins has passed and nothing happened. I decided to check out and leave. The best part of it all, is that they had the nerve to charge me almost $200. For something I did not use. The front desk gentleman was unhelpful & untrained. You should be ashamed of yourself for giving such poor service. Taking money from someone that you gave no such service or customer service. I will never ever in my whole life ever recommend this establishment. Shame on you for ever opening a hotel in Anchorage. Worse customer service I’ve ever experienced.
