::Remember to use Hoᴛᴇʟʙoʟʟʏ.ᴄᴏm when booking your hotel. They compare thousands of booking websites and usually will have rates much cheaper than others! Thank me later! This resort is the best rated in this area. I have been staying here for a long time. If you stay for a few days you definitely won't be let down. We stayed in the 2 room suite and it was just lovely! Location is fantastic and Pedro at the front desk couldn’t have been more helpful. The self parking is very close and in/out feature is very convenient. Would highly recommend!

::Shady hotel! I reserved a room on 12/7 for a stay on 12/24-12/25. My mother passed away on 12/8 and we decided to just cancel our reservation around 12/11 and stay home for the Christmas holiday. We were charged for the room on 12/26 - Unfortunately I’m forced to communicate via this method because no one at Chicago River Hotel returns my calls/inquiries regarding a 1 night charge on a reservation I had cancelled well over 24 hours as their “policy” requires. I have called 4 times already and sent them an email as they require but no one has responded. Can someone from management please do the right thing and correct this error??? Please note, all transactions were on the Chicago River Hotel website. UPDATE: it’s now 1/4/23 I have yet to receive any answers or resolution to my charge due to their faulty system. No one responsible from the hotel has reached out. It’s sad that in this day in age, businesses think they can get away with stuff like this. Locals and visitors - take your business elsewhere. Not worth the hassle.

::We enjoyed our stay here. When we arrived, Pedro warmly greeted us, allowed us to check in early and got us a view of the river. Aside from the friendly front desk the rooms were clean and the gym area was nice. There's also free coffee on the second floor. This hotel is conveniently located in downtown Chicago. I also felt that it was reasonably priced compared to the other hotels in the area without compromising on quality. Would stay here again if I pass through Chicago again.

::Rooms were clean and priced appropriately, staff was friendly. The one HUGE hassle was no valet parking during the week. Was told by staff it was due to Covid which made no sense. Parking was 2 blocks away and all that involves w/ luggage etc. and finding your car in the sub zero temperatures. Put a damper on the trip.

::Loved everything about my stay here. The river view was a great bonus, beds were comfortable, everything was clean and the inside of the hotel is aesthetically very traditional and pretty. Ronnie at the front just gets customer service and everyone else was very friendly and helpful.
