    My husband and I arrived at The Wit about 3 hours early. Ashlee greeted us and provided impeccable service. She helped us get into our room early and talked to us about the options we had being Gold members. It’s great being in a big city and finding someone who has great customer service skills. The room view was okay but we didn’t pay extra for the better views. The bed was comfy but I always miss my memory foam pillow. The Wit is going through a transformation which will bring it up a bit. The location is great and close to the L or walking distance to several attractions. The cost was affordable and I would stay here again in the future.

    Best location for walking to shows in the theater district. Front desk gal was so pleasant and helpful upon check in. We were offered water and cookies. The concierge was quick to attend to our bags. We had a renovated room and were very pleased with everything. Ate breakfast at the State and Lake Tavern and food was wonderful. Overall a great experience, perfect location right off the L from Midway as well. We will be back!

    Stayed here 1 night so we wouldn't have to drive home after seeing a show at The Chicago Theatre. Being a 2 min walk from the theatre entrance, it was so convenient and an absolute blessing after the show. Staff was very nice and gave us free water and warm cookies at check-in! They're currently refurbing the hotel so there was construction that started fairly early (7ish?) but the staff made sure we were well aware of this and we had to be up and out of the hotel early in the morning anyways so it didn't really bother us. The room was very clean and the bed was super comfortable. This will be our go-to hotel for any future shows at The Chicago Theatre!

    Overall stay was great, we have been staying here every December for the past 5 years. We always pick out the specific room we want when we check in. This trip we arrived early, we were offered a different room. We told the front desk staff we wanted to stay with our original room and would just check our bags. When we tried to check out bags, what appeared to be the manager said he would go ahead and check us into a different room so we would not have to wait. He assured us the room he was giving us was better than the one we had chosen. We went to the room, it was half the size of the original, and the view was not as good. It appeared he didn't want to have to deal with checking our bags and put us in any available room. We went to the front desk and the staff were very accommodating getting us back in the original room. We always enjoy staying at the Wit.

    Honestly, the general manager Mr. Morgan, saved the day for me. I decided to celebrate my wife's birthday here and the suite that we were in was perfect. Spacious room with an excellent view of the city, with a full sized tub that fits two. The bed was also extermely comfortable as well. The amenities in this place are great too, as they have restaurants a lounge/rooftop bar, gym, reception halls and an onsite spa. I would highly recommend this hotel for anyone, whether its for personal or business. When I stayed there were a few things that weren't in order prior to my arrival but was handled immediately after I brought up to management the other take away was the charity event outside that went from 6:30AM-5PM which had participants repelling off of the roof of the building which kind of interrupted our stay but other than that, we enjoyed and will be back, just on the side that is not busy. Note to Hilton, Please send my gratitude and thanks to Mr. Morgan for attempting to make our stay more comfortable.
