  Love Love Love Swiss Haus Bakery! As soon as you walk in you feel like you're right at home (it's even decorated perfectly)! There are a ton of different treats that are sure to make anyone happy with a sweet tooth. I'm a sucker for the lemon bars and chocolate chip cookies. This is a perfect stop if you want to surprise your favorite person with a delightful surprise.

  I pick up cupcakes and the tiny cakes from here for my friends’ and coworkers’ birthdays frequently and it is always a quick & pleasant experience.

  My low review derives from the way I was treated here. Pastries and cakes are ok. Nothing to rave about. My complaint involves a special order: challah. I ordered one. Came to pick it up (and parking ain’t easy around there). Oops! They sold my special order. So sorry. Did they offer any remedy at all? Nope! Did they even seem to care? Not a whit. The message: ‘We don’t care about what you may think or feel.’ Next?

  OMG! my all-time favorite bakery and have enjoyed it since 1978. The Hazelnut cake is worth every penny, every calorie and every sacrifice to get to Philly. In a world moving too quickly, it's wonderful to have a place with history.

  If i could give them a rating of 0 i would... called in and ordered a 9” strawberry shortcake FOUR days in advance for a birthday. When picking up cake they told me they “forgot” to make it and gave me a simple thanksgiving cake... loved Swiss haus bakery until this.. never coming again. I will “forget” about them just like they “forgot” to make a cake ordered 4 days in advance!
