Amazing chicken and donuts. The honey dip donut that comes with the 3 piece chicken is fantastic. So soft and yummy. Chicken is crunchy, tasty and well cooked. Also had the chicken sandwich latter, and that was awesome too. Going back in the morn for breakfast!

I try to visit Philly once a year, and I always stop by Federal Donuts. The chicken is crisp on the outside, moist on the inside, and delicious all over! The donuts are divine and come in a variety of flavors. Despite its small size, I quite like this location; the employees are friendly, the service is efficient, and there are usually at least a couple of seats available.

Incredible donuts. The guava donut is a must try if you like sweet and fruity flavors. A fun fact, the scraps and bones from the chickens they fry are used to make soup over at Rooster Soup Company, a non-profit soup and sandwich restaurant and bar down the street, owned by the same folks.

The staff were actually one the of the highlights to my trip to Philly last week. They were so patient and warm; they even suggested other restaurants that I should check out. I think the cashiers name was Sienna? Sierra? You were awesome - thank you again! (...... and the food was great ;) )

I think there might be a bit of hype over this place. Yeah, they have good donuts, don't get me wrong, and yes, they will make a special donut for you right there in front of you, but in terms of donuts, they're just like any other. They're tasty but not really all that special. I got the lavender strawberry donut, which was made fresh on order, but it's just kind of flavored like a lavender donut with strawberry sprinkles. Having made lavender donuts myself, I was a little disappointed by the lack of lavender flavor. Still good though, just not a "go out of your way" kind of good.
