Took a class on using an appliance. The instructor clearly had no idea how it worked. Total waste of time and money!

The employees at this location are horrendous. Super rude and act like they shouldn't be working and are too good to help you. I will not be coming back to the Cherry Creek location- ever.

Seems like such a small store, I feel like there should be much more selection. Of course everything is very pricey so I only go in there to hit sale and clearance stuff.

I want to post this review based on my experience I had in the store a few weeks back. I am in the mortgage industry and was in the store looking for closing gifts for my clients. I had been thinking about gifting Cutco brand products but wanted to look at Shun knives first. I am a Chef and have owned my own food business for the last 10 years so I really appreciate a good knife. I have purchased a very large amount of products from this location over the last 10 years and it is such a great location being I office in the same building. The other day when I went in there I was clear about what I was doing and asked to but a Chef knife so I could take it to a shop and make sure they could personalize an etching in the blade. I told them that if I could find someone I would be back to buy a large quantity of knives while they were on sale. My intention was to buy 100 of them so it could get me through most of the year. As I was checking out there system was having a hard time reading the strip and said that they were sorry but I wasn't going to be able to buy the knife. I asked if they tried to manually type in the number and they said No. I asked why and they said it was just their policy. At that point I asked to speak with the store manager and asked her why they were willing to let me leave when all I was trying to do was buy product from their store. She said "how would you feel if someone was out trying to use your credit card to buy knives?" This question really upset me because it was her assuming that I was trying to use another person's credit card. I asked her if she thought it might be a good idea to ask for my ID prior to calling me a thief. I had my ID and my credit card in my hand and not once was asked to see my ID. I understand that it's easy to profile someone and being someone that has a lot of tattoos I have dealt with it for years. However on this day I was in the office, wearing a nice dress shirt and slacks wearing a nice wool jacket and had my $70k truck parked right out front. I am not sure why I was treated the way I was that day but I want to thank you. I ended up driving over to Williams-Sonoma in Aspen Grove and got all the help I needed. I was able to use the same card although they also had to manually type in the number and purchased a knife and found a shop that was able to do the work I needed done. I went back and got a great price on 100 knives. They had to order them for me but I have received them and am very happy with the knives. Same knife I looked at at your store. While I was there I picked up a really nice Breville ice cream machine and a Breville Belgian waffle maker for my family for Christmas. My total out the door was just over $11000. As upset as I am with all of this I am happy because I found a store that understands customer service. It is so great that I was able to learn who you were as a store prior to spending so much money. This story has also been told to all of my CO workers who also gift knives. Thanks for this gift you have given me. Williams-Sonoma has been fantastic.

We took a cooking class here, and the food was great! But the class and organization was terrible. Ingredients were missing from trays, the instructor ran out mid class without any warning to feed his meter. So unprofessional all around. The food was good, but the portions were not, especially for $85 a person. We had to share 1 little steak between 2 people. After the class, we walked across the street and shared burgers because we were still hungry, unacceptable. Oh, and there's no booze, again, for $85, we should get to drink.
