Slow and not very nice....I been here a few times I have never had a nice person yet. My daughter ended up going here today because she was in labor. They were very rude. I could not believe the attitude from the nurses they had one lady sitting there in full labor and they told her she just had to wait her turn I was appalled. I'm from the south and they do not treat people like that in, or do they speak to people like you're beneath them. Then, on the paper, they wrote that she left a no pain she left in full labor, she's just only dilated one and a half centimeters. So there's nothing they can do. Nor did they treat her with any kind of respect. They didn't even wipe the jelly off of her belly when they removed the monitors for monitoring the baby. I mean, we're beneath them, we must do that ourselves like they don't get paid enough for that, never in my life, have I ever ever ever dealt with such disrespectfully nurses.

Terrible, incompetent nurses. If you have insurance go elsewhere. I brought my daughter here last week for a head injury. She needed some staples. The nurse told us to come back to get the staples removed free of charge. Free? I inquired as I didn’t expect an ER to do anything for free. She said yes, in front of my husband who is an attorney. I asked if I need to call to make an appointment and she said no, we just walk in. So I come today and guess what? The ER nurses are now saying it’s a charge as another ER visit! They confirmed with the registration that we would be charged if we had the staples removed today. This is a shady operation trying to trick patients so they can charge more money. Had I not asked at the beginning I would have been charged another $400 ER visit!!! I demanded for the name of the nurse that told us it would be free but the charge nurse Teresa claimed she couldn’t look up my daughter’s chart and said we could go to records and ask for the medical file. I also asked to speak to the hospital administrator, Page Laughlin, that conveniently was in a meeting. I called and left her a message but don’t expect to hear back from her. It’s too late anyways, I’m not going to waste any more of our time or money here. I had to take time off work and pull my daughter out of school to bring her all the way over here when I could have taken her to her pediatrician to have the staples removed. But now it’s 5 pm on a Friday so I can’t take her to her pediatrician now. I didn’t bring my daughter back here because it was supposed to be free to have the staples removed. I had already taken her for a follow on Monday with her pediatrician. I brought her back because I thought the ER would be more experience at removing staples than a regular doctor that doesn’t do it very often. I was sure wrong on multiple levels for wanting to come back here. This hospital and ER are untrustworthy and overflowing with unknowledgable staff. The original nurse also told us that the only warning signs to look for our daughter’s head injury is if she started vomiting. Really? Vomiting is the only symptom to watch for after a head injury? After I questioned that there was no other warning signs (which my husband thought was rude of me) then the nurse added dizziness, fatigue, etc.

Nothing but bad things to say unfortunately. I have a very close friend who has to deal with this “hospital” and it’s beyond frustrating to see the way she is treated by these “professionals” who she is supposed to trust. From having her severely premature son given an unauthorized operation to other members of staff talking down to her about condition of her sons poor health. It’s not only sad that they treat military members like this, it’s sad they would treat ANYONE like this, nobody chooses to have a sick baby.
