Pedro in the front office was very inept. I reserved the room through Expedia, got to the hotel around 9:00pm and Pedro told me he could not rent me the room I reserved and prepaid through Expedia because I was local. I live 3 hours away and he said that local was the whole state of NM. I became upset because I reserved that room. I asked to speak to a manager and he said I could come back in the morning to talk to someone. He walked away from me and would not help me at all, even though I was going to have to pay for this room and find another place to stay and pay for that one too. I started to chat online with a customer service rep from Expedia and he was trying to call Pedro and Pedro would not answer the phone. He looked at the phone and walked out of my line of sight. The Expedia rep was not able to talk with him. Even though this experience was upsetting, it was a huge blessing. This hotel was dirty and did not feel safe. The online rating on Expedia was not accurate. I dodged a bullet and I hope you do to!
