  This is a great Iyengar Yoga studio with highly qualified instructors. There are two studios, and both are well equipped with the standard Iyengar Yoga props and ropes. The most impressive aspect of Stillwater is the team of instructors. I trained with many of the instructors of this studio in different classes and levels. Each instructor has a different style. Thanks to this diversity, the studio offers a large number of classes and workshops with differing levels, focus, and aim. The core body of the instructors regularly visit the main Iyengar Yoga Institute, RIMYI, in Pune India, and bring new insights. There usually are a few workshops in the planning. The director keeps an active line of communication through electronic newsletter and the web page is kept up-to-date.

  I started yoga at this studio over 25 years ago. I moved too far away to come here for 18 years but recently moved close again. I have now been coming to the studio again for about a year. The instructors are knowledgeable and attentive. They work with people from basic to advanced, young to old, "injured or compromised" to fit and vigorous. This is a wonderful place. There are many yoga practitioners here who have been coming to Kathleen's studio for many years.

  I have more than 12 years of practice at this studio. If you want to try Iyengar yoga with teachers that travel to India every year and have tens of years of experience, this is your place. Besides knowledge, Stillwater gave me compassion, understanding, and the power to work through my many injuries and issues. They keep me healthy and sane.

  I was initially nervous to try something new. Now I'm glad I came here. The studio is pretty and clean with good parking. The students and teachers are friendly, interesting people. AND my instructor Katherine does a great job of reminding us to tighten our form and redirect our minds. Her classes are exhausting in the best possible way.
