DON'T EVER GO TO THE SERVICE CENTER UNLESS YOU ARE UNDER WARRANTY OR ARE FILTHY RICH. They charge you quadruple the standard repair fees. This last experience left me traumatized. This review refers to the SF Honda dealership service repair center on 1960 Folsom street. I bought a used 2004 Honda CRV for $5400 a few months ago and unfortunately, the radiator blew. I was told I would have to get the radiator replaced, hoses, and thermostat. Quoted me $1800. Then came the long list of other repairs the car needed...(spark plugs, engine valve adjustment, oil leaks from the tensioner cover, engine, and crank seal). All repairs were quoted at $3,520!!! Then they freaked me out even further by telling me that I might even have to replace the engine! I thought I would have to scrap the car!! I was extremely distraught and upset and told them that I was a struggling student. Tommy Jung, the mechanic, told me he would help me and waive a diagnosis fee down from $400 to $200. This barely scratches the surface of the gigantic $3520 bill in my face. Long story short, I got a second opinion through another SF mechanic @ 76 station on Fell and Divis (ANTONIO, you're my savior!) without any BS spiels or "deals". I got the hell out of SF Honda STEALership with a AAA tow and paid the "discounted" diagnosis fee of $200. Antonio installed my NEW radiator and repairs for $400!!! Not near the $1800 I was quoted at SF Honda! I found a trustworthy, honest mechanic in the end. I want to let SF Honda know that this entire experience caused me severe distress both emotionally and physically. I felt taken advantage of and was treated dishonestly. Tommy has treated me kindly in the past and fixed minor repairs for low cost and sometimes even free of charge. I'm thankful for that treatment in the past, but I will never go to SF Honda again after this horrifying experience. Maybe this is just Tommy and the other minions following what the big boss says, but it's still not okay screwing the little people over. I understand that dealerships generally have a higher price tag but someone could have told me on the side that I could go somewhere else, especially since I disclosed that I was in a low income bracket. I live paycheck to paycheck. I don't appreciate feeling cheated and duped. Luckily, my daddy didn't raise a fool.

Staffs are helpful to answer all the questions and concerns we had, let us purchased the date we need, solved our parking issues for couple days. We are happy for our car and appreciate their help.

I don’t even write reviews, but all I can say is this is the worst car dealer I’ve ever experienced. I’ve recently been looking at cars and have gone to many car dealers. When I went there looking for a car, there were about six people doing nothing. No one has a key to a car for us to look at, and another person gave us attitude for wanting to look at a car that was purchased. All we wanted to see was the trunk size. All they can show us was the premium car, and no one was helpful and they made us wait and they were terrible. Additionally, the place was filthy with trash all around.

I purchased this car from San Francisco Honda and I'm happy with my purchase. Josh was the salesman that helped me out with my purchase. He got me a good deal on the car.

We had an excellent experience at the Honda San Francisco. John was awesome! He's extremely knowledgeable of all the car models and was very patient during our test drive and with our questions. We really appreciate his honest opinion of the pros and cons of each cars. The dealership's service was excellent through the entire process. We bought a car without all the hassle all in one day at at excellent price! Would definitely return for future car purchases.
