  All of our food tasted the same brisket/pulled chicken/ribs. Low flavor. Could judge food taste by how everything had sauce already put on it to mask the bland ness. Okra tasted frozen also.

  First time ordering from here. Found the young lady at the to-go station very friendly and her recommendations to be spot on. Placed an order for the 3lb Party pack with 4 pints of sides and fried sourdough bread. Honestly all the meat was very tender and had great flavor, all though the ribs had a little too much fat and cartilage for me personally, would still recommend the dry rub. Favorite meat was the sliced brisket. Our sides for the night included: cole slaw, Mac and cheese, okra, and collard greens. Would recommend a trip just for the greens. And will definitely return so I can try some cobbler and banana pudding.

  The three stars are not about the BBQ here, the BBQ here is actually pretty good. But the reason is that for the three times I’ve came to this store in the past year they have always run out of Ribs and Brisket after we already ordered. I understand running out of something on the menu, but when you have been sitting for an hour with your family expecting to eat some BBQ you get really disappointed. Management needs to fix some problems with waiters and the kitchen communicating about what’s going on, and fix logistical problems. If this disappointing situation ever happens to you, Charleston’s is in the same shopping center as RH&B and they have fantastic ribs, steak and service.

  Being from Tennessee, this barbeque draws us to it. But tonight's dining experience was very disappointing. 41degrees outside, not much warmer inside. It seems most restaurants think ladies love to eat with their coats on. I even put my scarf over my lap to offset the cold air blowing over us and our food. But not to worry, the pulled pork was already cold, as was the potato salad. Thank goodness the bread was warm. No wonder there was only one other table with dinner guest. The one redeeming quality was our waiter. He was courteous and very attentive.
