I love their food and coffee. But the barista told me they don't steam soy milk for hot lattes "because it doesn't steam well" which I find ridiculous considering even Starbucks can get a good steam on soy. Just another local coffee shop making my lactose intolerant and nut allergy life more difficult.

Egg Salad and Quiche outstanding. Macarons the best I've ever had. Croissants spectacular. Shortbread melts in your mouth......to say the least, nothing bad here!

I have never had anything bad from here (though they sometimes have a bit of refrigerated taste if they are not fresh) and love that their signature macaroons are gluten free. That said... They are truly expensive. However my husband and I have tried macaroons in many different cities (including in Paris) and these are by far our favorite. The texture is excellent- crunchy on the outside and soft in the middle.

The staff were friendly, skilled and knowledgeable. They answered questions about ingredients and allergens. I loved the care and skill that went into making and presenting all of the pastries. The seating is somewhat limited, but the staff work hard at keeping tables clean and limiting wait times. Parking is a challenge for all of the businesses in the area, but the quality of the food and service make it all worthwhile. Pistacia Vera is a true gem in Columbus!

little taste of France in German Village I have visited the lovely coffee shop/bakery twice in one month. I love the atmosphere and decor. The coffee was delicious and the selection of pastries is wonderful. In addition they have a great selection of macarons that are wonderful. The texture is to die for. They also offer some fabulous selections of brunch dishes. I plan to head back there as soon as I can.
