Coffee was okay, and service was slow once I ordered. They were close to closing so that may be why. Anywho, the only reason I would definitely go back was because of the employee at the cash register. I ordered a chocolate chip cookie and upon putting it in the cookie sleeve she noticed it was a hard cookie and said "that cookie is hard. I can't give you that". Then she fetched into a fresher batch that wasn't in the window to make sure i had a soft cookie. I love chocolate chip cookies so this is a big deal. The average person would have given me the hard ass cookie and sent me on my way. She didn't. That was huge. Then this same employee was cleaning and I actually saw her clean the base boards at the condiment (not sure what to call it) and that really shocked me!

I DON'T LIKE COFFEE SO I'M NOT THE BEST PERSON TO REVIEW THIS PLACE BUT IT IS A LOVELY PLACE TO GO.YOU CAN GET GOOD STRONG COFFEE THERE AND SIT AND RELAX.THE STAFF IS HELPFUL AND NICE.THERE ARE LITTLE SNACKS THERE THAT ARE PRETTY TASTY THOUGH SLIGHTLY OVER PRICED.THAT'S TO BE EXPECTED WITH RENTS WHAT THEY ARE IN THE CITY.OVERALL I WOULD RECOMMEND THIS SPOT FOR COFFEE.

Walked in on the way back from the Smithsonian. Shop was clean and open, with plenty of natural light. The woman working the counter was extremely rude. She looked like talking to someone pleasantly was exactly the opposite of what she would rather be doing at that moment, and was not trying to hide that fact at all. She stared blankly ahead while shouting at the woman in front of me that they were out of cold brew coffee. When I ordered, she barely made eye contact with me, but continued to look annoyed. I ordered pleasantly, and she just stared through me while I paid. Each following customer received the same treatment. You can get coffee anywhere, and this was a stop of convenience. Having never been here before, I wouldn't write off the shop or brand, but the it was a NOTABLY bad experience. Bad enough that I made sure to take a picture of the shop and make a review.
