Always a waste of time unless you wanna know if the garbage goes out today or not. They never know anything you're better off using google the phone receivers jobs here are a complete waste of tax payer money. A WASTE OF MONEY AND TIME!

This is your typical large city agency that hands out business permits, testing and various other licenses to do business in and with the city. While nothing in perfect (far from it), in municipal government agencies, and the same holds true here, they are fairly well organized. Although they neglected to tell me that I needed a particular form when I initially checked it (a form that was not included with the forms package which was downloaded from home and filled out even before showing up), so I wasted time and had to come back. The staff seems knowledgeable and relatively efficient and they get you in and out fairly quickly. In any case, you can't avoid this place if you are trying to do business within the city and need a license or permit - just make sure you have everything you need prior to going here.

I only want to congratulate Ms. Julie Menin on her new position as Commissioner of New York City Consumer Affairs Agency. I had the honor of meeting and campaigning with her last year, while running for Manhattan Borough President. All I can say is than Julie is fair and possess strong moral and working ethical principles which will be her foundation leading the Consumer Affairs Agency. On behalf of myself and all my family, congratulation. In advance Good Luck and a lot of success on your new tenure. Warmly, Jimmy Rosario
