  I don't know why this library has its lights on all night with A.C on it consumes more than it provides and makes alot of noise to the neighbors

  This is a quiet library. The staff are friendly and willing to help. If kids are a bit loud and roudy, don't blame the staff for keeping an enjoyable atmosphere.

  I love NYPL's all over NYC, however this particular library is an exception. First off the front desk is terrible, there's not such a thing as customer service. The staff is rude specially the black woman that works there. What a terrible experience at this place!

  I have come to this library alot more since moving to the bronx. I love it, my children love it. Most of the staff is friendly and helpful but there is this one woman (an older black female with a pixie cut) who is the rudest, disgustingly obnoxious person i have ever met. Not only once but 3 times i have had an issue with this woman, i have spoke to a few other people as well who have had altercations with her. I hesitated writing this review, giving her the benefit of doubt (maybe she was having a bad day)but after listening to her belittle another person in the library right in front of them i had enough. The library really needs to do something about her. Walking in and seeing her sitting there really ruins the whole experience and honestly the next time shes says something unwarranted, its going to be impossible to be all that nice. Such a shame, beautiful library.

  The only thing i use this library for is picking up books. The teen section has a limited selection. The kids area upstairs is nice but the staff are rude to parents and older siblings. It is very hard to get decent treatment here. There's this staff member that patrols the place and is not at all nice or friendly. Don't go here when middle and high school get out bc it's loud and the students are disrespectful.
