This is a really nice library, very modern with many floors and does not feel claustrophobic at all like most other libraries. However their actual selection of books leaves something to be desired, especially considering this is supposed to be the "main" branch of the Bronx. I couldn't find any programming books at all. Most of the collection they have is geared towards adult literacy.

When you walk in the aroma stinks like someone pee In the entrance the bathrooms in the kid area are a mess, and other adults from other floors come there. I didn’t enjoy my experience there. This place stinks.

Such an enriching library, especially in this neighborhood. Positive learning environments such as this is highly needed. Computers are always available and hours are great, they're even open on Sundays, which is scarce in the Bronx. Thank you!

nice library and i really enjoy the calendar of events. I would give 5 stars but seems to many people who just take up precious seating area to sleep. it's easy to see who's there to use the facility and who's not.

It's a great environment to get some work done. I usually come on Sundays. However, I would appreciate if this one man that works there would stop saying to me "Excuse me miss, this is the teen section. How old are you?" I can clearly see that I'm in the teen section. It says so on every table and on the big pole in the middle of the room. It's very irritating. He's done this 3 times now. Like, what? Do I need to write on my forehead my age? Not everyone is going to look their age, and in this case, I do not. He's black, about 5'8, bald, and wears glasses.
