  My family just moved to the area and from the moment we walked in to the moment we left it was like a family. I loved it so much better then queens. They really make you feel welcome and the happy is great.

  I love this library,probably for all the reasons some might dislike it. 1.The staff is amazing,most all of them go out of their way to help and assist you. 2.I love the fact patrons of all ages are welcomed especially the youth. 3.I love the fact that the library employees reflect the color and vibrancy of the neighborhood. 4.There are several neighborhood libraries just like this one ; and most patrons love the fact that it is not a library only.But a place to come and socialize in a safe environment. I salute the staff of the West Farms Library branch and all the neighborhood libraries.

  Since I couldn't give zero stars I guess they could have this one..this library is trash..I miss the days when libraries were actually quiet..this place has kids yelling with no one telling them to be quiet..women with babies crying with no one asking them to step out..the librarian at the front desk with blonde and turquoise hair seems to add to the noise while she holds conversations with the teens sitting behind her who most call her "mom" ..smh..I came here to do an application for employment..after the 20 min application I was then instructed to start an assessment test for 30-45 min..in the middle of my assessment I realized my 45 min I was given to use the computer wouldn't be enough so I went to the desk to ask if my time could be extended..the lady told me no because "other wise people would be In here all day"..I walked back to the pc and got prepared to log off with my time near ending. I noticed while gathering my things the next person who logged onto the computer I was using went straight to Facebook ..smh so a job application with a assessment test couldn't be completed because someone needed to check their Fb notifications..I WILL NEVER EVER EVER COME BACK HERE WILL DEFINITELY TRY FORDHAM OR OTHERS THIS WAS A WASTE OF TIME!! 😡😡😡

  West Farms Library has a way of making you feel like family... customer service is great...In fact walking into The branch at 2085 Honeywell Avenue, Bronx, NY, feels like walking on-to the set of that old time Television show "Cheers". Without the drinks, just a chance to learn... To each and everyone at the West Farms Library, I say thank you for your service.
