I have been coming to American Service Center for the last fifteen years, with multiple cars, and always get excellent service. Dave Smith and the rest of the center take great care of me. Dave Smith always makes sure I know exactly what is going on with my car and updates me if there are any changes while my car is being serviced. I have always been provided with a loaner car and never have to wait long for my car to finish being serviced. I trust Dave Smith with my car, and more importantly, my daughter's car, and am satisfied that the cars are in top shape whenever it leaves the service center. I would suggest this service center and Dave Smith to anyone who needs their Mercedes to be serviced or has an issue that needs attention.

I own a 2008 Mercedes Benz and had been experiencing issues with setting the clock. I had taken the vehicle to a few repair shops to set the time among other things but for some reason the time could not be set. I was advised to take the car to a Mercedes Benz dealer. So, I took it to Mercedes Benz of Arlington. My first visit was a great experience. Brett, the gentleman who assisted me, was very friendly but he could not figure out what the problem was with setting the clock. He recommended that I make an appointment, which would cost me approximately $155 service fee and have the radio looked at because he was sure that was part of the problem. Several days later, I returned the car to Mercedes Benz of Arlington, told them I was having issues with the clock and that I was told that it probably had something to do with the radio and asked them to check it out. I received a phone call about an hour and a half into the service and was told that they had ran a diagnostic but did not find anything wrong at that point. I was told there was something wrong with the Inner Tie Rod, brakes were needed and that I would need an alignment as well. I had recently had the Service B performed on my car the week before. My concern was not the issues they pointed out, I was disappointed they could not pin point the problem with the clock (the service that I came in for). I was asked how much money did I want to spend on this issue. Normally, a price range is given PRIOR to getting a service, so I didn’t understand why I was asked this question. But shortly thereafter, I was told that the diagnostic was $155 per hour. That information should have been conveyed prior to the service. At that point, I told the service rep not to go beyond two hours (it was a radio and clock issue and I was already at $320). I’m still uncertain as to why they looked at anything else that did not have anything to do with the radio and was not even remotely close. I was also told that the vehicle had too much oil in it and that it would have to be drained and have new oil put in (at a cost of $185). Which, I found that hard to believe as the vehicle had been serviced the week prior (I told the rep I would take it elsewhere for that issue). I picked up my vehicle and was told that they did finally figure out the problem (it was a blown fuse associated with the radio and miss-wiring, again for the radio). I can’t help but wonder if they would have found it sooner if they had not run a complete diagnostic and just looked at the issues. However, I am not a mechanic. I just don’t feel good about my experience. Also, I had the oil, the Tie Rod and the brakes re-checked and they found nothing wrong. The experience was terrible and needless to say, I will NOT take my car back to Mercedes Benz of Arlington!

This was, far and away, the best car buying experience I've had. Mr. Elliott from the used car sales was courteous, professional, stayed after closing to work on numbers, and happily worked with me on an extended test drive during rush hour traffic. The offer I received for my trade-in was more than I was quoted from a prominent dealership in Tyson's Corner. I've not done any other business with Mercedes-Benz of Arlington, but I can state they are a better place because of professionals like Mr. Elliott. Thank you.

The customer service at this Mercedes dealership is amazing. I walked in and was promptly greeted. Within one minute of arrival i was already assigned a sale spokesmen and withing 10 minute the vehicle i requested was pulled to the front of the building. After the test drive, a none aggressive conversation was had about lease vs finance, down payments interest rates etc. i told them my time line on purchase and they didn't push me to make a deal in the moment. Overall amazing service.

I have had family purchase Mercedes for many years, and the quality of the vehicle is beyond any other vehicle I have sat in. I have many times come to this dealership, and have each time been treated with respect and have always been provided with the information I needed. They are willing to negotiate with you on the price of the car. The stock Mercedes of Arlington carries is tremendous. I had a great selection of different vehicles to look at. In conclusion, anyone looking to purchase a quality car, good service, and quality, this is the place to go. They give great deals and are willing to help every person very thoroughly.
