  What a gem! My son chose it for his 30th birthday family dinner. Before I get to the food, which was amazing, let me explain the 4 stars. Service. Service. Service. It was HORRIBLE! Our waitress was one of the rudest waitress I've ever encountered. So bad that if I were seated in her section again I would ask to move, or I'd leave. She seemed to hate us, her job, pretty much everything. We were a larger crowd, 11, but weren't especially hard to care for and we were polite and thankful the entire time. She actually rolled her eyes when one of our party gave away their lemonade because it had mint in it. The lemonade was extraordinary by the way! Enough about her! The food and space are amazing. I had the lamb chops, which come in a 2 or 4 selection. I had 2 but could have eaten 10. So very good. They came with potatoes and beans, both of which were great! I cleaned my plate! I haven't enjoyed a meal this good in a long time. They need to weed through their wait staff and remove those that are pulling them down. There's lots of places that serve good food and so many times return visits are based on the other variables. I'll be back but won't let her wait on me again.

  Went here after a lot of recommendations. Totally disappointed. WAY overpriced. The service was decent, but the food was terrible. I’m not sure why people are crazy about this restaurant. I love Lebanese food, but this was just BAD. Never going again. I would recommend Pita House in Old Town Alexandria. This place sucks and is just a rip off in my opinion.

  Service initially seemed to rush us today, but it was mother's day after all. We've eaten here several times and if we weren't moving, we'd eat here again. It's thankfully quiet and the food is consistently good.

  This is by far the best Lebanese restaurant within the DC area. The food is fresh, the quality is high. This is not Lebanese taverna's average quality. This is s two families own restaurant. Both owners take pride in the quality and output of the dishes. You cannot go wrong. Take it from a Lebanese who grew up with mother and grandmother cooking.

  Excellent Lebanese food. Taken from someone who is half Lebanese and grew up with the cuisine..i would say this ranks among the top in the Washington DC area for great Lebanese food. The Wine list is lacking and the ambiance of the place has me take one star off of a 5 star rating for food. But putting those aside, this is a great restaurant for Lebanese food in the DC area!
