Excellent service and very pleasant staff. Even if you book through a third party (I generally use Priceline), they will often put you in the nicest room available. Bar and public areas also very pleasant and good for conversation.

We had a late night check in, and I called ahead to notify the front desk. We were able to check in with no major issues. The outside of the building and the lobby are quite beautiful. The room itself was BASIC. One queen bed. No fridge, no temperature control (thermostat couldn't be adjusted). The bathroom had a sliding door, which didn't offer a ton of privacy, and pinched your fingers when you tried to open it from inside. The toilet kept running unless you jiggled the handle. and the step up into the shower allowed you to see all the dust on the light fixture above the mirror. I liked the shower gel they offered. The room was also right off the elevators. The doors seemed very thin, because you heard EVERY person that walked by. It wasn't a huge issue, but there was definitely no sleeping in once other people starting walking down the hallway. Overall, the stay was fine for what we needed, and it was close to the Old Market. I'm just glad we got a really good Hotwire rate, because I would have been very upset paying full price for what we got! There are other options for that part of town, so I would look into those for next time.

The room was a small but well decorated. The bathroom was really nice. I considered it "intimate" rather than small. Bar was good, complimentary cookies were a tasty addition, didn't try the restaurant. You can park on the street if you're willing to pay the meter until 9 and there is an app for that. Meters are off from 9pm to 9am. I paid $2.00 to park which is pretty remarkable for a downtown hotel.

I am so glad that we chose to stay at the Magnolia Hotel for our conference in Omaha. Not only was it within walking distance from many local restaurants, but they also had some of the best amenities including a complimentary shuttle service and free milk and cookies in the evening. Our shuttle drivers and the front desk staff gave great suggestions for food and shopping and were extremely helpful throughout our stay. The hotel was also just a beautiful place- I loved the historic architecture and vintage feel. I would stay here again in a heartbeat!

Very friendly staff and excellent service. Parking is difficult unless you want to spend $20 a night for valet parking. Wonderful bar area, nice fireplace. They put out milk and cookies at night, they are fantastic! Very warm and inviting feel here. The lobby is beautiful. This is a great place! I wish there was more easily accessible electrical outlets in the room. Very clean and spacious room, comfortable bed!
