A mother daughter road trip to Omaha and we wanted the extra special experience and we were NOT disappointed here at all!! Everything was clean to an extreme degree, top of the line all the way. Everyone was helpful and kind with every request we had. The room was more than comfortable, and being from out of town the valet parking is a must. It is actually cheaper (20$ a night) to take advantage of this service and so convenient. Puppy friendly, but not in an overwhelming way where it might be a turn off to the not as puppy friendly visitors. Also.. not mentioned on the site is the a free breakfast is offered in the amazing restaurant connected and it is to die for!! Home made marmalade and jam for the fresh bakery items with coffee service. It was a nice suprise. I without question to suggest to everyone to splurge from time to time and enjoy life. Hotel Deco is absolutely a perfect atmosphere for memory making. .

Hotel Deco was our destination for a 4 day trip to Omaha. The location is just a couple of blocks from the old market and 10-15 minutes from a number of other interesting locations. We we're surprised by the size of the rooms and how comfortable the furniture was. We ordered room service the first day and the food was delicious which isn't surprising considering that it is sourced from the on premise restaurant, Monarch Prime and bar, which we also had the pleasure of dining at. The staff were accommodating and quick to help. Overall it was a great experience in downtown Omaha.

We had to change rooms because of an issue with the air conditioning in our first room. Staff was helpful, accommodating and very friendly. Both rooms were clean, comfortable, and I loved the style they were decorated in. Overall this is a beautiful hotel. Breakfast was just okay, but the attendant was very friendly and engaged us in conversation about our trip and plans for the day.

This is by far our favorite hotel in Omaha. Quickly put..."Old World Class". Longer explanation is that there is simply a level of professionalism and quality among the staff that makes a stay at the Hotel Deco a wonderfully memorable experience. Has there been a hitch during a stay...absolutely. We chalk that up to life. What is amazing and noteworthy is the way in which the staff handled the very minor bump in the road and how overwhelmingly wonderful they were about it. Add to this the fantastic rooms. The oh so comfortable beds. The in room mini bar that is second to none. Don't forget the speak easy next door and don't forget to skip breakfast elsewhere and go here...starts at 10 am, when civilized people get up ;)

Reviews for this hotel are way off point. This place needs a management overhaul ASAP. Here was our experience: We pulled up to the valet. A young man came out and told me he would be right back with a dolly. Never showed up again. I dragged a dolly out by myself, unloaded the car and headed back in. The same valet approached me and forgot that he had told me to return. No biggie, the kid is busy. After waiting in a way too small hotel lobby for check in, we enter the spacious high ceiling room. The faux hardwood floors are unclean and sticky. Most of the curtains are missing rods (these are like a dollar at Home Depot) and several outlets are non functional. One of the windows near the bed is cracked and there are crumbs on the rug underneath the coffee table. The shower is the nicest part of the room but it would be nice if they provided more than two towels for a family of four. The tissue box was empty and there are no ice machines. The saving grace of our experience was that we did not find any bedbugs. It’s a shame - really beautiful architecture but needs better staff and attention to detail.
