  I've been at this gym for 8 years and kept my mouth shut, ignoring all of the shortcomings because of the relationships I fostered with the members of the gym. But now, I can no longer turn my head to the drawbacks. The management and staff have been awful for quite some time. The lights are shut off long before the gym officially closes, and members are harassed to go home early. Worse still, the locker room lights are shut off ten minutes before the gym even closes. So now we're trying to leave, and can't even see a foot in front of us. Many times I've resorted to the use of a flashlight to go to the bathroom. The weights are everywhere except where they should be. I'm constantly left to search for a dumbbell. They remodeled the entire gym recently, yet there are two whole barbells missing, meaning at any point in time at least two pressing or squatting stations are not useable. If a machine breaks, forget about it. I've been waiting on the standing calf machine to be replaced for at least 5 months. The paper towels constantly run out, and there is garbage left everywhere. All of these things are due to poor management, this gyms achilles heel ever since I started. They don't value their customers, because they know all they have to be is a little bit better than the surrounding gyms. In my 8 years, I have outlasted every single staff member at the gym. Most front desk people, salesmen, and janitors quit or get fired within 3 months. There have been at least 7 different operations managers during my time. It is a mediocre gym at best, but it just so happens the Crunch across the street and Retro on the next block are a little smaller with less equipment. But, they value their customers, and treat them with respect. The choice is yours, I hope my review has shed some light.

  Came in and met with daniel, the new sales manager. He was very friendly and really took a genuine interest in helping me figure out what my fitness goals are and the best way for me to get where I want to be. And he even got me a membership that fit right in my budget. Really a great experience!

  If you like a gym where nobody takes the weights off the machines after they use them or weight plates are left all over the floor and the dumbbells are Never Ever in order or left on the floor somewhere then this is the gym for you. They have good machines and plenty of stuff, but you spend most of your time cleaning up after someone else or searching for handles and attachments that are barley around. Maybe one good one of each..It's sad.
