Not knowing where to begin with bicycles, I met Katharine from Kindred, who spent almost 5 hours fitting me on bicycles, showing me various rides, giving the breakdown on different bicycle parts, and explaining how a bicycle should work with the cyclist. More than selling a bike, they were getting me excited to be a cyclist. Definitely recommend, whether you're buying your first bike, or need service on your eleventh.

It's in the name. They are kind and the service was fast and for a reasonable price. Had a flat and left with a new inner tire, tuned brakes and a smile.

This is a store that is welcoming and truly cares about bike riding at any level. Service is top notch that goes the extra mile so one can get more miles on their bike.

Kindred has such a welcoming atmosphere and everyone is very kind, knowledgeable, and patient. I'm having such a great time with my Jake the Snake. Thanks so much Katharine and Aaron.

My new go-to bike shop. Knowledgeable plus friendly. Respectful of all biking experience levels. They feel like they want to help your riding experience without being "sales-y." This is genuinely the kind of place you want/like to support. First time I was there, I stopped in with a friend for a visit. I had recently replaced my brake pads on my own for the first time. We were just having a casual conversation and one of the employees looked at my bike and noted that my brake pads were on backwards (oops, my bad). She just immediately gabbed her tools and spent the next few minutes fixing them. And that was it. No charge, no judgement, just saw something that was easy to fix and fixed it. Like I said, the kind of place you want to support. Cool logo too.
