We went for a walk on the north shore river trail past Hienz Field and Rivers Casino. Caught signs pointing to Bicycle Heaven. Went there. Enjoyed all the vintage and exotic bicycles and displays. They put a lot of work into setting this up. The owner and his son were very nice. Just an out of the way quirky thing to see and do. Just fun.

A friend recommended I come here to look for a bike for my kid and found the perfect bike and received great service. Everyone was really friendly and helpful and the place is really cool. We wandered around for a while and could have stayed for hours. Definitely worth a visit.

Apart from bicycle heaven being one of the most expansive bicycle collections we’ve ever witnessed, the way the collection is skillfully and artfully assembled, and the way it flows as you progress through the facility fills you with a magical sense of nostalgia. Conveniently situated off of the rails to trails right by where the 3 rivers converge, we’ve had fun adding Bicycle Heaven to our cycling routes and have stopped multiple times since our initial visit to experience the ever-progressing collection. The owner, Craig Morrow, is knowledgeable, easy to talk to and always willing to shed insightful viewpoints on anything in the museum you may have questions about. To top it off, Pee Wee Herman’s bike is there, exhumed from the basement of the Alamo and safe from the thieving hands of Francis Buxton! The museum is free to visit, but accepts donations and most everything inside is for sale! Bicycle Heaven is a Pittsburgh staple and a must see for anyone, bicycle enthusiast or not.

Fantastical place. You go in, moderately curious and think 'yeah this is pretty neat'. Then you turn the corner... And climb the stairs.... And with each twist and turn there's just more and more until your grinning ear to ear from the sheer magnitude of it all. Well worth the visit.

I don't care if you like bikes or not, this collection is a must-see if you're in Pittsburgh! I came while visiting my family, and all seven of us had an incredible experience. Seriously, just go. Take your time while walking through the organized chaos of this amazing two-floor warehouse, every inch of which is covered with random doo-dads from back in the good old days, and awesome, rare bikes. Everything screams fun and nostalgia and weird and interesting and UNIQUE. Oh - and there's a pinball machine if you look hard enough. Plus, the people who run the place are super friendly, kind, and knowledgable. GO! (And hey - it's free - but seriously, donate. This is good stuff.)
