  Wow, I am always so impressed with the quality of service at Hotel G! Ricardo is especially noteworthy; he always has a smile on his face and radiates positivity. He is kind and helpful, which makes booking Hotel G a no-brainer every time I’m in town. Love these guys!

  The Hotel is in a awesome location for shopping! Right in the middle of Union Square. The hotel is subpar. The rooms are extremely small . The hotel includes a additional $25 dollars per day for access to the amenities, which are not great by the way. Also, our bathroom smelled of sewage and mildew. The wood plank flooring was practically coming up from the floor as we walked around our room. I would not be staying again. I rather pay the cost for a nicer hotel.

  Great location, good value, would return. Location - One block from Union Square, nice because your not in all congestion around Union Square but still super close. Everything Union Square is within walking distance. Room - On the smaller side, but large by SF standard. Had a king bed and still plenty of space around room. A little dark, but went with the historic/modern theme of the hotel. Hallways and rooms have hardwood floors, so noise transfers easily. Your in the city, so normal city noise gets into the room. Parking - Hotel supposedly has valet, but couldn't find the valet people the first night. Realized the O'Farrell garage (private self parking garage) was across the street and just parked there. O'Farrell has a hotel special of $39 (including tax) per day for hotel guests in the area. If I had to do it again, I wouldn't bother trying to valet at the hotel, save $30 a day and park yourself.

  This place is noticeably clean, and staff are really friendly. They tried to help us to get the lowest price possible, and they were really helpful to point us to the right place to wash our clothes, and to the eateries nearby. The location is great (I found it by searching “Safe hotel San Francisco” and it was listed in TripAdvisor). The area is feels safe, at least safe enough for a tourist to walk out and get food at mid-night (which is rare). The hotel is right next to Union Square, with everything you need nearby! Would love to come back and stay here again.

  All the people there are super nice and always helpful. They have a small gym on the second floor. I would ask to have a room on the top floor since it is very loud because it is right at the union square. The suits have a nice size and everything is decorated very modern.
