Cute little place for some simple but good food. The food portion of the menu is small - 5 or 6 entrees and another 5 or 6 appetizers. The wine selection is quite big and the prices are pretty reasonable. They also have 4 or 5 draft beers to choose from. The food is good quality and done with care and creativity. There is bit of Japanese/Asian influence but overall result is very good. The service is very good. The staff is courteous and attentive without being intrusive. This will be my go-to place if I am in the Oakland area.

Retro dinner with full bar. The burger was great; big and juicy. The bar highlights Japanese whiskey. Clean and crisp decor. The service was ok, not fast. Not an excellent value.

Great service, delicious food, and awesome cocktails. The location is conveniently close to the freeway and had plenty of street parking too. We made a reservation so there wasnt a wait. It wasn't too busy on a Sunday afternoon even if you don't have a reservation. Definitely coming back here again so we can try all the different cocktails and meals.

A great spot to sit and stay late with friends. Friendly staff, and they even allow you to taste a wine if you have a question. Our table had the oysters—nice and fresh. I enjoyed my pork, and the tri-tip was very tasty, as was the trout. Try the dessert menu—small but fun. Finally, we had takeaway friend chicken.

Went on a Sunday and found parking was relatively easy. The interior is tiny so they make use of tiny looking chairs and tables to try to squeeze in as many people as possible. The food was meh. It didn’t taste bad it just didn’t get me excited despite the fact that i was very hungry and could gave eaten literally anything. The presentation of the food could have been better, they need to rethink their food presentation strategy because as soon as my dinning partner saw my food, they didn’t want to have a taste, they asked me “is that what you ordered?”
