  Good clothes on a budget. I like the fabric of their shirts as they are soft and one I've had for over a year is still pretty good.

  Huge selection. This store is super crowded, since it's in the loop, and a little messy, but also huge. This means it has a huge clearance section. It had tons of nice cocktail dresses on clearance sales which was fantastic. Staff is also very friendly and helpful. Multiple dressing rooms, and usually one has free room even if the store is busy.

  Ive only been to this H&M maybe 3 times and every time I went I was greeted by a friendly assiciate as soon as I entered the store. Right off the bat I noticed how emaculate it was. The shelves were neat, the racks with pants/hoodies/shirts had been organised so as to not let their hangers look like they were haphazardly thrown on. The floor was also spotless, not just free from clothing but from peoples trash too. This is in downtown Chicago so for it to be as clean as it was I was kind of impressed. What wasn't so impressing was the cusyomer service. Yes, they greet you at the door and ask you if you're looking for anything right away, but when asking for an associate for help with finding my size for a pair of jeans, I was put on "hold" for almost 15 minutes!! And no, the store wasn't busy and they weren't helping anyone else. They were simply lazy and/or preoccupied with 3 racks of clothes in the fitting room. Its your job, I get it. But 15 minutes?? Come on! You know we cant leave the fitting room to grab another size.

  The selection was great, but the service was mixed. At first, one of the employees seemed bothered by my inquiry for a shopping bag or cart. Eventually, she came back with one after she spoke with the manager. We went during the holiday season and they were running wonderful deals on small accessories.

  Staff was friendly but they did not inform that the items I purchased had a no return policy and nothing was posted in the store. Now I have undergarments that are still in the package but they won't accept a return. I found boxers at a different store that I love so never needed the H&M set. Paid $27 for the honor of holding their inventory. H&M should warn customers before purchasing that unused merchandise will not be accepted before they purchase. Also, their register did not ring the advertised B1G1 50% off so double check everything before walking out.
