  This gentleman charges double the going rate in DC. He charged me 70 dollars to replace only the soles of one pair of dress shoes. The materials he uses are not of superior quality either, even at that price. You can get faster service for less almost anywhere else in DC. I've paid 25 or 35 at other places since.

  After a number of repair shops turned me away, Golden Shoe Repair & Shine was able to accomodate a unique repair need that I had. The work was completed in a timely fashion & was reasonably priced. They did a quality job and seem to take pride in their work.
