  On January, George had me pre-pay $518 to order parts and install them on my refrigerator. The work was never performed and George will not answer my calls or my texts. He kept my $518. George's responded to the review above is nearly entirely false. He never offered a refund and he never let me know he was sick. I sent him a request for the refund via the Cash App on 7/21 which he never paid. George has the option to continue to lie and make things worse for himself or make it right by refunding my money. I send him a new request for a refund. If he does, I'll delete this review. Otherwise, I will continue to let the community know (via every format I can write a review on) what to expect if they do business with George aka Diversified Home Services of Southeastern Michigan. Make it right George. You admitted you got my money and didn't do the work. Just end it by refunding my money. George still hasn’t refunded my money as of 8/7/2022..

  George Clippers came in response to my Home Warranty claim on my dishwasher leaking. He called me saying he was in y area and could come over. I paid him and he said he would send me an invoice and that I needed a new part. I called him a few days later and got someone to answer and he hung up on me. And then when I tried to call again, it goes to voicemail saying I have to text. I have texted multiple times and have not heard anything. I asked for an update via the Home Warranty website and they called me saying they haven’t been able to get ahold of them either. Do not hire this company. They took my money and did not finish the job and now I need to hire someone else to do it and it’s been weeks. Update as of 9/28: I have had to reach out to Diversified Home Services 4 separate times asking for an update on the repair for my dishwasher that was submitted to my home warranty company at the beginning of August. I finally spoke with the Home Warranty company who informed me today that Diversified Home Services submitted their analysis of the repair, had the parts shipped to them and billed the home warranty company for labor and have been paid out and the claim closed. My dishwasher is still leaking and I cannot get a response from Diversified Home Services. They do not take calls anymore, only text messages. They have not been removed from the Home Warranty company's list of contractors. Do not work with them.

  George was super responsive and professional. He showed up when he said he would and I really appreciated that. He really takes pride in his business and I could not recommend them more. When working with a Home Warranty Company (which I was) need to realize which part of customer experience is owned by the company coming to do the repair and delays due to the Home Warranty Company. Diversified Home Services gets A+ for their part of the customer service. Thanks again for fixing my heating element on my oven.

  I hired George Clippert to fix my dryer last week. I picked up his phone # from Nextdoor. He is not a professional. He lies about things and tried to scam us. He came on Monday last week, spent 15minutes, took a couple parts from my dryer and asked for half money down. He said he will come back the next day. I made a mistake thinking he is nice old man making his living in this pandemic. I paid him half of the money. To our dismay, he did not come all week. Every day I called and texted him and he always had colorful lies. His lies included -- parts shipment did not come, it did come but wrong part, he has splitting headache, he had to go to ER, he is going to Chicago, he has continued education class. All these lies in one short week. On Saturday that week, I had enough and told him, he must fix the dryer today or return my money. He refused. After going back and forth, I have threatened (I would have) him with police, and finally he sent the money back via cashapp (I paid him via cashapp). He still has not returned the parts. I am sorry for this long and negative post, but I wanted you to know about this guy. Do not go through what I’ve been through. ----- UPDATE (9.8.2021): I thought I am done with this guy and never have to say anything but then he left this nasty reply last week and I thought its important to respond. I am posting screenshot of my post and comments posted on nextdoor.com on Dec-2020. I highlighted yellow the response his daughters wrote.

  Waited all day for repairman to show. Crickets.. got an email over an hour after the appointment asking me to verify my address and appointment time. I did. Again....crickets... sigh.
