Pros: It is in the middle of Crystal City, close to a lot of hotels and apartment buildings. It has both yellow line that takes you to china Town and Mt Vernon Sq. And Blue line takes you to Metro Center. Cons: The staff in the metro station manager’ s kiosk are very unfriendly, they could be aggressive at times. They lack the minimum level of professionalism and customer service. One of them told me once “ If I WAS you, I will take me A uber” because I was complaining about the customer service. You can’t buy a single trip ticket, you must buy the SmartTrip card and pay $2 for it, it is rechargeable but for people, like me, who do not use metro all the time, I keep forgetting my smart-trip card and buy new one, I end up with 3 or 4 of them.

One of the cooler metro stations in the area. I'd recommend a visit to the underground mall if you're visiting from out of town — it's something very familiar to DC/Pentagon workers, so if you ever meet someone out of town who worked in DC, it'll make for interesting conversation!

The station manager is so rude! Never ask her for help! She will snap at you rather than help you! You are better off asking a stranger to help you. Which is exactly what this distraught young lady did when she was unable to load her smartrip. The station manager not only would not let her enter the gate, but she was so rude that the girl started crying! I couldn't help myself I had to ask her if she was okay. She said that she lived far away and she was stranded. Poor woman. Metro should be ashamed.
