    the rooms were clean however no information in room about anything reference ice, vending, shuttle, etc. the employees were nice. the little market didn’t stay stocked very well. the parking is not the best. it is very pricey for being a mile + away from music row. thank goodness for a nice shuttle driver, however it should have later hours. ***** it is very very pricey for breakfast. be sure and check your bill for extra bistro charges. no response from mackenzie or anyone after 3 days and 4 calls.

    staff is very friendly. we were a little disappointed in housekeeping. we were there for 2 days and she came in our room and made our bed but left the pull out, didn't even touch it. we folded the bottom up so we could get ready and it was still that way when we returned. we asked for a comforter for the pull out as there was only a sheet and a blanket in closet. the comforter was old and thin. I realize we were there under the employee rate but we should still get the same service. Sunflower checked us in and she was great and valet was very attentive.

    After 4 phone calls in the past 2 weeks we finally have our reservation changed from a king bed room to a double bed room. Unfortunately the group rate that was applied has expired. After all the calls most have been polite and helped the best they could but couldn't cancel the 4 rooms that were booked incorrectly. The gentleman I talked to tonight wasn't as nice but confirmed our reservation was set correctly before hanging up after I said thank you and not even saying good bye. We have stayed at multiple Marriott hotels around the US and have had great service. We hope our stay is better than the problems we have had getting the reservations.

    If anyone is looking for great deals on hotels you can check them out on HotelRaven. com Booked a room on there and they had the best rates around... I found the location to be perfect, close to downtown and literally in the heart of the West End and super close to Music Row, hard to beat that. Parking is extra ($30.00/$32.00) a day so if you have a car,think about that. The staff: very friendly, talkative and helpful. Check in/out was a breeze. TIP: check in is at 4:00 we arrived at 3:00 and no rooms were available before check in, although we requested a room in tower 2 (newer tower) or we would have been able to get in earlier. I recommend if you can get a room in Tower II you try that option. Newer and less crowded.

I recommend if you can get a room in Tower II you try that option. Newer and less crowded. The rooms are adequately sized, in Tower II and the accouterments were fresh and stylish looking. Hallways did not smell stale and the room also did not have any commercial fragrances to mask odors or musty smells, very neutral. The beds and pillows were comfortable. We found the room and bathroom to be cleaned well. The AC/heat is centrally controlled and quiet. The beds (medium firmness) were comfortable as well as the pillows. We slept well each night. The lobby area was always bustling they have a Starbucks and bistro there for what I'd consider more quick bites.
