This Courtyard has the same layout as most Courtyard built at the same era. The bed tells the age of the hotel. Typically, Marriott beds are very comfortable but I think the beds here are past their prime. The front desk staff are friendly. Housekeeping staff that I interacted with were very courteous and keeps the place clean! The hotel is located very close to a lake with sidewalk. I did not measure but I believe one loop around the lake is about a mile. Perfect for walk after a long day at work and don't feel like using indoor threadmill It is walking distance to a Walmart Supercenter.

We went to the Courtyard Marriott in Jacksonville to visit the Mayo Clinic. The room was spacious. The beds were very firm. I love firm beds. The bathtub was spacious and had a handicapped seat as well as accessibility rails. The only thing that was scary is that a full length mirror in the door that allows you to see yourself on the toilet. Not a pretty sight. The room was very clean. The AC was great and easy to control. My husband insists that I add the fact that there were no chocolates on our pillows. He thought women have the right to know. They have a bistro downstairs that had very good food. It had a limited menu but the food was good. They have an outdoor pool which we didn't use. They have a fitness center which we didn't use. They have a guest laundry room that we didn't use. Basically, this is a great hotel. They also have a limited Starbucks' coffee and chai tea latte. We plan to stay there again. The rates were sky high because of some stupid golf tournament in town but are usually around 113 dollars a night for two queens.

Good location. Reasonable price. Shame that there's no continental breakfast included with the stay but Starbucks almost makes up for it.

Perfect one night stay in Jacksonville, FL! I had to travel through Jacksonville on trip to South Florida. The Courtyard was exactly what I needed for my stay. Super close and convenient to the highway. Also made for a very short drive to the beach! Upon arrival the front desk staff was super polite and helpful. I was in my room and in bed within mins. Room was spacious and comfortable. The pillows were like clouds - so soft! Bathroom was huge! While close to the highway and literally across from a Wal-mart (made for an easy late night snack fun), the area was very quiet. I slept with no issues! Will definitely stay here next time I'm in Jacksonville.

Our client, touring musician Ryan Murphy recently stayed here while on tour and had a fantastic stay! The room was awesome, very clean and quiet. There was a restaurant onsite with a really good Cheeseburger and they served Starbucks coffee in the morning. Thank you for taking such great care of our client while under your roof for the evening!
