  This Consulate General has to be one of the most unprofessional and unorganized places I’ve ever encountered in my life. Firstly, the customer service is very poor. The employees are not helpful and they are also rude to their customers. Don’t even bother wasting your time to call their office because no one answers your call and their voicemail box is always full. I renewed my passport since last year July and have not received it yet. I kept calling and eventually made a two hour trip to Miami (which was a complete waste) to see what was the situation. When I finally arrived there they told me oh you haven’t received your passport to due a few errors in your application . So wait.... how would I have known there was an issue with my application ? Shouldn’t they inform me ? I’m supposed to find out on my own? Something needs to be done to provide better customer service to citizens. Totally unacceptable!!

  Worst counslate ever.. these trinidadians are the worst set off people they have working here....How hard is it to clean your mailbox so others could leave message or how about actually answering the phone, after all thats what you all are getting paid for

  OMG, what terrible service. I called 3 days back too back and no answer. Voicemail always full so you can't leave a message. Finally a guy answers the phone after 3 days and was VERY rude and did not help me at all. They all need some customer service training. What a disgrace to us Trinidadians. 😡

  If I can give an institution a zero, this one would get it. I have been trying to reach them for over a month now. No one answers the phone and all the mailboxes are full!!!!!! I sent in my passport three weeks now and have not had any communication from them as to if it was received and when I could expect to get my renewed passport. This is totally unacceptable and who ever is in charge should be immediately fired!!!! Someone please help!!!!!!

  So here is a summary😡 Why does it matter to me if they are under staff when I just need to renew my passport. Wasted my entire day there, and still didn't get anything done right by these fools! They are so unprofessional at this office towards their own citizens it's a shame! Google should offer a negative star rating it. It's not like I live in Florida to run up to their office, it's time of work, money spent on tickets to get there. Everyone I spoke to have nothing nice to say about Trinidad Embassy Miami.
