The greatest study environment, pretty expensive.

A really cool alternative to Starbucks if you need one!

Delicious coffee, nice atmosphere, and good place to study. Parking is a bit iffy, but that's par for the course with Lexington in general. Would definitely recommend!

Just what one has come to expect from the American, non-Starbucks coffeeshop. I have heard somewhere once that Starbucks is in the habit of acquiring coffeehouses and either renovating them to appear individual or keeping their individual look, upon the premise that consumers want an individual experience rather than a reliable chain. Bearing that possibility in mind, Coffea could be another Starbucks in disguise, but at the end of the day, a rose is still a rose by any other name, and we still crave caffeine and a quiet environment, with a pinch of soft jazz. By no means remarkable, but my experience was gentle earth tones, tickled ivories, and a decent Americano. Take that however you will.

The atmosphere is really great for college kids and academics, which is good considering they're right next to a major university, but that also means they're usually really crowded and it can be difficult to find parking. Their pastries and coffee are pretty good, I would recommend the honey bear which is basically a latte with honey, it's pretty good. They also have really good croissants. They can be a tad pricey but you get a lot for what you pay for especially if you dine in. They also have a lot of nice, convenient seating if you can manage to grab a spot.
