  Our daughter and 2 grandchildren live a few blocks away and we go to Brooklyn every year in February for our grandson''s birthday. We have stayed twice at the Beorum Hill Guest House and we love it! It is on a relatively quiet street in a beautiful neighborhood which has many families with children. Just across Dean Street is Rucola restaurant which has wonderful food (great breakfast - go early because it is very popular!) The room we had on both trips is large with a huge tile bathroom, refrigerator , sink and limited cooking facilities. The place is spotlessly clean and the bed is comfortable. If you are heading for Manhattan, it is a 30 minute subway ride and you will save substantial money by not staying there. This is a wonderful neighborhood which feels like "old New York." There are many interesting shops and other businesses within a few blocks on Smith Street, Atlantic, etc. The only concern is the narrow, steep stairs which would be difficult for disabled people. The owners live on the 1st floor and they are very friendly and accommodating. If you are coming in late, let the owners know and they will assure that you have access. This is a good value in a great location. Book early because others have discovered this guest house!
