only reason this is getting one star is because i have to choose one. We stayed at the Red Lion on Friday, May 11th-Saturday, May 12th. the front desk receptionist at both check in and check out were EXTREMELY rude. Especially the one at check in. We were never told we had to pay for parking until check in, which is ridiculous on its own. The toilet in our room ran all night long. It was extremely noisy, with banging and talking by the other employees and guests. Main complaint is how rude the employees were. Definitely not worth 200 plus dollars for one overnight. Most definitely won’t be staying here again, or recommending this place to anyone.

Great rooms. Always free hot coffee in the lobby. House keeping didn't change the sheets once in my 10 day stay. We had to ask for more towels. Breakfast had almost no fresh food. The staff was helpful and patient.

besides 35 per night for no safe/tight parking spaces. The room itself was very small yet comfortable. It was the coming and going in and out my room that was uncomfortable . It seems that the hotel has some sort of homeless shelter system going to where there were there was men standing infront smoking and crowded in the elevators. A lot of traffic too much for such small building and small public space. It’s not the worst but expected more

The rooms were good. I love the mini bar. Breakfast menu was great. Everything about the hotel was just OK.

Great location in Brooklyn, walking distance to the Barclay's center and Atlantic terminal. The hotel room was normal size for NY. Bed was comfy. The staff was nice and accommodating. The only thing that could be improved is the cleanliness, specifically the shower.
